Delivery Operations App
Developed an app for fast order handling, earnings tracking, and performance stats to support couriers throughout their workflow.
User flows, optimized order screens, status-based workflows, earnings withdrawal, and courier performance dashboard to streamline operations and enhance user experience.
The application allows couriers to accept orders, manage their workflow, withdraw earnings, and track performance statistics. It was developed using native technologies for the Android platform. The main business goals were to optimize delivery routes, support new couriers in navigating the workflow, and reduce order acceptance time. During product development, I primarily used questionnaires and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
Home Screen
Based on user behavior, the home screen was divided into two sections: recommended orders and all other available orders. Courier status (online/offline) and order cards remained visible as usual. Order cards were reorganized and visually shortened for faster scanning. Additionally, a dedicated block showing daily work summaries was added to help couriers track their progress throughout the day.
Order Acceptance
Essential information—including estimated time of arrival (ETA), pickup and drop-off locations, and delivery price—was prioritized to support faster decision-making. For cash orders, the screen displayed both the amount to be paid at the restaurant and the sum to collect from the customer. The layout was optimized for clarity and quick understanding, reducing cognitive load during active shifts.
Active Order
This screen guides couriers through each stage of the delivery process. Its content dynamically adjusts based on the order status, providing clear, step-by-step instructions. Each status is color-coded for intuitive recognition, while the primary action button allows couriers to update their progress with a single tap.
Performance Metrics Dashboard
The Efficiency screen offers real-time visibility into a courier’s workload and capacity. It displays performance indicators that influence how many orders a courier can handle, helping users stay on track and optimize their shift output.
Quick Earnings Withdrawal
Couriers can easily transfer their earnings to personal accounts through a simple two-click process. The feature was designed to minimize friction and increase financial transparency for users.
